Prepare the applicant's current passport-style photograph

Client

Prepare a recent, clear passport-style photograph that meets the municipal upload specification. Do not substitute a scan of the identity document.

Prepare the applicant's DNI or passport

Client

Create a clear PDF copy of the applicant's valid DNI or passport. Check that the identifying details are readable and consistent with the application.

Prepare the parent or legal guardian's DNI or passport

Client

For a minor applicant, prepare the identity document of the parent, mother, father or legal guardian acting as representative.

Choose the Citizen Service Office for collection

Client

Select the Oficina de Atención a la Ciudadanía where the physical card will be collected. Check the currently available offices in the online form and choose one the applicant can attend.

Complete and submit the online application

Client

Open the official first-issuance procedure, confirm the current instructions, enter the applicant's details, select the collection office and upload the required files. The municipal page offers a low-identification route where the applicant can enter their data without signing in; when used, the filing is not associated with an authenticated history. Save the submission confirmation

Client

Save the confirmation or receipt shown after filing. Record the submission date and selected collection office without storing unnecessary sensitive data.

Receive the card number and PIN by email

Client

Monitor the email address entered in the application, including the spam folder. The municipality sends an automatic email with the Citizen Card number and PIN after registration. Keep the PIN private: do not upload it to Fliox or post it in comments.

Collect the physical card

Client

After receiving the card number and PIN, collect the physical card from the Citizen Service Office selected in the application. Carry the original identity documents used for the request; for a minor, the acting parent or guardian should attend with their original identity document. Confirm current office access or appointment arrangements before attending.

Verify the card and store the PIN securely

Client

Check that the printed card details are correct and that the card is usable for the intended municipal service. Store the PIN in a private password manager or another secure location, never in shared project fields.
